As a sales strategy, a "price richly, then cut it in half" might be the key to finally moving a prime development property in Cocal Amarillo called "La Onda," which is now offered at $3.2 million after price reductions totaling ~50%. Other properties that were initially priced above the market have since come back in-line with market conditions, with a couple of properties finding buyers at reduced prices.
December's sales activity does not constitute a rebound. It could be a sign that the worst has passed. The coming buying season (January to July) will provide direction.
